Saw the video of the TV program we were featured on. DORK CITY!! LOL (I'm the dork; Karla did better than I did! LOL)

Saw our video that Proper Television out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, sent to us; it was the video of the show "TV Made Me Do It" that we were taped for.

Karla looked pretty good, but me--oh. my. LORD! LOL I looked STOOPID!! Nervous?? You bet!! Karla was nervous too, but she handled herself a lot better than I ever could! I was proud of her! She did a great job!! (Me, call it bad acting! I'll never be another Angelica Huston or America Ferrera!

Let's put it this way: their careers in movies/television are safe! LOL

The program featured a Canadian storm chaser named Ron Gravelle; it also featured Karla (mostly) and myself (supporting cast). David Finfrock, chief meteorologist for Channel 5, KXAS, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, also had a major starring role in the production.

It was quite interesting; however, I couldn't help laughing at myself. "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" when asked if Karla watches too much weather on tv. We had to do a reenactment of what we do when severe weather strikes. (Grab piillows and blankets, and head on for our teeny, tiny claustrophobic half bathroom.) We had to pretend a storm was overhead and act scared.

It wasn't hard.

I think we did a pretty good job; however, Karla stole the show. :) She did fantastic! (I thought!) She doesn't think so. She says she could have talked louder, smiled more. (ALWAYS a critic in the bunch! LOL)

So now there are two bright new television stars on Authorsden: those Texas weather girlz, the StormSpinner (Karla) and the Texas Tornado (me! Karen Lynn.)! :)
