Came home today to a pleasant surprise: a large envelope awaited me. When I opened it, there was a book inside (actually two copies!).
My story, "Paramedic Stories: Near Drowning! (Story of Patricia E. Moss, EMT)", has been published in a Japanese/English textbook, "English For Healthcare Professionals: Because We Care", written by Maki Inoue/Tadashi Ihara.
Thank God my story was written in English: I don't read Japanese! LOL (Can speak a little Japanese; only word I can read in Japanese is "tree". LOLOLOL)
So now I am a published author (again!!)!! I am very excited about this! So is Karla. She gave me a standing-ovation when I walked into the house; I'm like, "What??" and she gave me the envelope.
When I saw my story, I started grinnin' like a cheetah that caught a prized antelope. I am still smilin' as I write this!
Hopefully more of my stories will be published; one of my dreams is to have a book of some of my stories published. That would be too cool!
A new milestone in my writing career!! Yay!!! (Or, as I like to do, "AAAIEEE!!") :D :D *BIG grins!*
