Arts/Entertainment
Li Smith - alias Liane Dutilleux wins the Kara Art Silver Award for her art website: http://lianedutilleux.byregion.net. She is author of "Wheatgrass: Superfood for a New Millennium", Vital Health Publishing (2000).

A peaceful atmosphere created by shady trees and spicy floral scents is the Johannesburg home to this artist and writer whose interest in Eastern philosophy and symbolism is the intellectual input behind her work. She is married to artist Richard Smith who is at present working for an exhibition. Son Bevil and daughter-in-law Susanne live in London with their son Alasdair. Daughter Camilla also lives in the UK.

Li, an art teacher, believes that everyone has latent talent which can easily be developed with the right instruction. Painting is therapeutic. Working with color helps you explore your inner landscape where emotional content is directly expressed and released.
