Health/Wellness
''Epiphany of Life'' is a non-profit organization developed to meet the needs of women undergoing transition due to separation and divorce!

No one gets married thinking that it's going to end in divorce. We all want to believe in happily ever after. We make vows with the belief that we will remain happily married until death do us part. But let's face it, sometimes happily ever after comes to an end.

We look at our partner as our partner for life, but sometimes life changes, needs change, and we find ourselves at the end of an era. Sadly marriages end. It's unpleasant, but realistic.

When the love is gone, and the marriage is coming to an end, people also change and ugliness emerges. Suddenly the one, who vowed to love and cherish you for life, is someone you don't recognize anymore.  How could he not care if you live or die? How could someone  whom you've given yourself too faithfully and unselfishly,  whom you stood by through sickness and in health, given birth too and reared his children, suddenly want to leave you penniless?

As bad as this sounds it is the reality in which we live today.

Epiphany of Life is a non-profit organization that I started to support women who are undergoing transition due to separation and divorce.

When a marriage ends, it is hard on everyone involved, but usually it is the woman who is at the biggest disadvantage. In most cases, women commit themselves to their marriage and when it ends, some don't know "how" to survive. Her life as she knows it is suddenly over and she may not know where to turn.

Because women are not prepared for the transition she suffers emotionally and the emotional trauma of her new status can have a long-term impact on the physical health of the body. Women going through divorce experience various degrees of emotions; rejection, depression and low self-esteem, just to name a few. Women become depressed at the many "unknowns" that divorce brings.

In many cases, women come out of a divorce with much less than they are entitled to simply because they are not educated about the divorce process, they couldn't afford proper legal representation, or they didn't ask the right questions.

The mission of Epiphany of Life is to meet the needs of women who are undergoing transition due to separation and divorce. It is our mission to provide emotional support to those in need thereby preventing divorcing women from making bad decisions based on their current emotional instability.

We do this by, providing emotional support to those in need, providing resources for legal representation and by educating women on the divorce process so that she may be fully prepared to begin living and loving the rest of her life!

We do this because women are strong, resilient and what doesn't kill us, can only make us stronger!

Epiphany of Life is still in the developmental stages. If you would like more information on our services or would like to be a part of this great organization, please contact Glenda Wallace at: glendawallace.glendawallace.com or glendawallace.pinkkisspublishing.com
