A bit of good news.
This morning, I opened an E-mail to discover that My Splendid Concubine had been awarded an honorable mention for Fiction at the 2008 London Book Festival.
There was an invitation to attend the awards ceremony in London to be held December 18. Needless to say, at this late date, I'm not going. Imagine the cost of an airline ticket?
