Haiku selected for Vancouver's Cherry Blossom Festival.

Vancouver's Cherry Blossom Festival, 2006

I am pleased, to announce, my haiku was selected as Highly Commendable, from over 1000 entries, submitted for the 2006, Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. I am thankful to have work selected for this city-wide event.

Vancouver's Haiku Committee, includes the following members:

Carole MacRury, Vicky McCullough, Michael Dylan Welsh and Edward Zuk.

Selected haiku will be printed on banners and displayed throughout the city, during the Cherry Blossom Festival. The works will also be presented on the VCBF website, after February 20th, 2006.
