The three sisters continue their successful stories in their second book of memories. Their family moves from Yeowardville to a rural area where they attend a two-room school.
The stories will delight you, make you laugh, and remind you of your early school memories. Young girls first kisses, PTA meetings, the Christmas play, snow forts, baseball, passing notes over the wall in the coat room, and staying after school for help from the teacher.
They share their family stories as they relate their memories of their first time working a garden, their first tree house, the tree swing that broke on one of the sisters, living in a house without inside plumbing, the fear of a storm that involved their mother. An Aunt of theirs said the house reminded her of the "long branch" in the TV series Gunsmoke and that's what she continued to call it.
These and other memories will leave you satisfied, happy, bring back a memory or two of your own and make you glad you shared their continuing journey with them.
The authors are busy working on the book now so look for it in 2011.
