On February 4, 2006, I wrote about three dreams in my journal; three nights...about several events that have recently taken place. Among these events were the death of my beloved Chihuahua, Romeo.
I am grieving his physical presence; but his spirit forever lives on in my heart. I hope that the lessons from this have been acknowledged by all concerned.... I have learned to abide by my intuition.
I saw through Romeo's eyes on the day that he ran away until I last held him in my arms, and said good-bye to his tiny presence. The day that I was to leave for Beijing,China, Romeo ran from where he had been placed. Suddenly, I knew that Romeo would be "damaged" and gone from me. I told all concerned that after three days of Romeo's disappearance; he would be found. I saw him in my vision, with my spirit, I felt him...and he was just as I saw him. He was perfect...still...as though he was never even touched by the car that hit him! I postponed the trip to Beijing, China where I was going to study Qigong; and maybe find a healing for my chronic illnesses...Fibromyalgia and Cervical Dystonia.
Romeo provided pet therapy at a nursing home where I, also, volunteer with activities and teach cooking classes.
Can we turn premonitions around? Can they be warnings that we heed to? Why did Romeo have to die? How did I know all that would happen in detail? Spirit is more powerful than our physical presence. I know that there are answers to my questions just waiting in a dream...a vision...a spiritual enlightenment...somewhere.
More importantly is that there is never to be resentment or blame held upon another, ever! Just lessons to be learned and experiences to grow strength and courage from.
(Romeo, my little boysie, I miss you! Your little sister, Contessa Juliet, was born on April 1, 2006. Misty Girl, your mother knew..... No one and nothing can replace you, Romeo; but I will love her, too.)
Embracing with spiritual love and light,
Monika Arnett
