Oct. 18, 2012 was the launch of Tag Team Spring River. Anytime 2 members of the Spring River Branch of the NLAPW go out together to network and speak, the team is in motion.

Writers' Ink of Jonesboro invited two writersto talk about the hurdles beginning writers encounter and CJ Clark and Pat Oplinger, published writers of poetry and prose accepted the challenge and enjoyed the interplay with the group's members, facilitated by Donna Austin who recently published her first book, The Sunflower Principle.

A memorable day of learning was had by all as the group of 14 women interacted for two hours on a wide variety of subjects. 

Since the National League of American Pen Women encompasses professional female artist, writers, and musicians, Tag Team Spring River looks to a busy future, meeting and discussing with skilled and talented women from across geographical areas and professions.
