Opening Symphonic Concert for 2003 season

The 2003 Season at the famous Cairo Opera opens on Saturday the 13th of September at 9 p.m. with a Symphonic Concert, introducing the new conductor and Music director Sergio Cardenas and featuring the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and the Opera Chorus and soloists in a concert presenting a rich program opening with:
Tarek Ali Hassan: Fanfare for brass and percussion
Rageh Daoud: Dialogue for violin and orchestra
L.v. Beethoven: The ninth Symphony

Any of you who may be in Cairo are earnestly invited to participate in the Concert if this music is to your taste!
