I am working on the second novel, "Fathers Sons and Brothers". Currently it is in the draft stages, but expect to be complete, ready for hard copy edit by the Middle of September, 2002.

"Gus" is working feverishly, to tie up the loose ends on 'Fathers Sons and Brothers", Book One. He is in contact every day with his publisher, Publish America. The author, as well as readers, is anxious for the release of Book One in 2003!
He has received some good comments/reviews on the excerpt from chapter two, that he has posted here on Authors Den.
In the meantime, Gus is working on the sequel to Book One. Of the same title, "Fathers Sons and Brothers", it picks up in September of 1863, and takes the reader along with Nathan as he continues to fight the good fight with the Twentieth Maine.
Will his foundational beliefs change, when it comes to why he volunteered in the first place in '62? Will the morale of the men in Company H withstand the chaos of the fall of '63?
In the North, riots overtake New York City and Baltimore. How will the new conscription law play into the morale of these seasoned volunteers?
With God's grace, and patience on Gus' part, Book Two should be ready for the publishers eyes some time in late October, 2002.
