Here's a review of a book I originally wrote under a pen name by a company that went under. So, now its under my name again.
"The government is hot on Alyse Zupan's heels as they think she has something to offer regarding a case against the mob. She clearly does not feel the same way and lets her frustration of their constant presence be felt. Although she plays with fire as she negotiates with both sides, her determination to win shows through, even when it involves the sexy FBI agent Marshall.
Pretty Red is a wonderfully sexy read. Not only is the heroine, Alyse Zupan, a woman that others can look up to, one can very easily relate to her fiery personality and independent nature. She also can show her warm and caring side, which coupled with her intelligence, has any woman finding a little bit of Alyse within themselves. She only echoes what most women dream about with her highly charged and descriptive sexual thoughts about Marshall. The tension between the two of them builds up to a highly anticipated climax that can only make one smile at the surprise ending.
I felt that this easy relativity to the heroine made for a highly addictive read. The story has a good flow throughout and I found it difficult to put down. The intensity between the main characters showed through the complexity of the relationships with the erotic scenes serving as the cherry on top of the cake. Definitely a perfect read for a rainy day."
