Holy Cow I have been memed too! Firebrand Lesbian novelist Sage Sweetwater asked me to come on board and log into Myspace land and here I am.
I was asked to answer a few questions, here are the Answers to the Questions!
1. One book that changed your life? Bury My Heart at Wounded Knees This book made me cry and realize that when people do not stand up for another this can happen again. Wounded Knee was a catalyst in my mind. I will not stand idly by and let another kill someone because they are a different color, religion or sexual preference. We must stop intolerance.
2. One book you have read more than once? Black Elk Speaksh I follow Native American spirituality. I am of Lenape descent and follow the ways of the Metis. I am a Peace Chief for the Black Otter Band of the Florida Metis.
3. One book you would want on a desert island? Wow, tough question. I think one on survival tactics to let my Old Indian ass live long enough for someone to find this old Indian alive, and FAT!
4. One book that made you laugh? Don Quoixty. Without a doubt one of the funnies books ever written and it was written in the 1500s. OK I would take this on a desert island, if it had a good supply of fry bread and buffalo…
5. One book that made you cry? Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. It was so moving, so wrong in its approach to how to treat fellow humans that you could not read this novel and be left unmoved.
6. One book you wish you had written? Harry Potter so I could retire rich and open a buffalo ranch and provide scholarships to mixed blood children.
7. One book you wish had never been written? Any book about Hitler and how great he was. The man was death in the flesh.
8. One book you are currently reading? First Communion (A Collection of Modern Irish Stories) by Jack Schotock. I edited this book for Jack and it is a moving set of stories about life in Ireland.
9. One book you have been meaning to read, but just haven't gotten around to it? Can’t think of a one. I read so many books that I do not have any that I have not made time for to read. If I want to read it, I make time for it. I may forget what I had for dinner tonight, but I will never forget the time spent with a great book…
The 5 people which I wish to tag are Bob Farleye, Thrips, Jack Scholtockr, Irish children’s book author and short stories, Barbara Casey, author of The Coaches’ Wife, Julie Rodriquez Jones, premier Astral artist and worldly art.
