Stepping Through Seagrass just released!

by Linda Bilodeau

Las Vegas, NV – October 26, 2006 ArcheBooks Publishing (
Announced today the release of Stepping Through Seagrass by Linda Bilodeau

“Stepping Through Seagrass” is the story of a physician’s battle for sobriety and her acceptance in a wild and tropical environment. This is Linda’s second novel and was inspired by her real life experiences in dealing with those close to her who struggle with alcoholism.
The central character of Stepping Through Seagrass (ISBN 1-59507-150-4) is Dr. Kate Anderson, who relocates to rural Florida as a Public Health Service doctor. Leaving her comfortable New England lifestyle behind, Kate quickly realizes that staying sober is the least of her problems. Her first day at the clinic, Dr. Anderson clashes with Tommy Tiger, a Seminole medicine man and leader of The Tommy Tiger Clan, clearly she has much to learn about practicing medicine in South West Florida. As Kate fights her demons, both old and new, she knows failure will cost her everything. Like stepping through seagrass in the Everglades, one misstep will send her sinking into the ooze.
Linda Bilodeau and her physician husband have lived in Southwest Florida for the past 5 years. Linda uses her education; she holds an M.B.A. degree, life experience and numerous careers as inspiration for her books. Stepping Through Seagrass is her second novel. Linda recently received an honorable mention in the Writer’s Digest Annual Writing Competition for a short story titled, Impossible based on how she met her husband. It was one of 18,000 entries. Visit her website at or email her at for additional information.
