Summary of my talk in Curtin University
on Sept. 5, 2007. This summary will be published in "Warta Geologi", bi-monthly newsletter of the Geological Society of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, in the September/October issue. |
There is a wealth of data about earthquakes and earthquake research available on the internet. Anybody can monitor earthquakes in almost real times, and data bases such as the USGS offer a fantastic compilation of historical data - one can draw one's own conclusions and these are, I'm afraid to say so, not always in tune with established thoughts.
