Amanda Blake Biography Earns Second Award

The London Book Festival honored recipients at an awards ceremony January 20, 2011 at Grosvenor House near London’s Mayfair district, London’s literary hub. The biography was awarded Honorable Mention in its category and was judged by a panel of publishing industry experts using the following criteria: 1. General excellence and the author's passion for telling a good story. 2. The potential of the work to gain a wider audience in the worldwide market.

This is the second award for the recently released biography of the legendary actress Amanda Blake known worldwide as “Miss Kitty” from the classic western television series Gunsmoke. The show aired on CBS twenty years playing to an international audience estimated at 850 million and continues to be shown in syndication fifty five years after its 1955 premier.
