Dokken has released a brand new music video for the single "Empire", taken from the band's 11th studio album 'Broken Bones.’ For serious Dokken fans, there is a DVD, which features a comprehensive "Making of the Album" documentary. This begs the question, are there non-serious Dokken fans?
'Broken Bones' is produced by Dokken front man and namesake, Don Dokken. The new set features a return to the band's classic sound of catchy melodies and is high on production. The current lineup of Dokken is: Don Dokken (vocals), Mick Brown (drums), Jon Levin (guitar) and Sean McNabb (bass). Random Don Dokken quote: "We've never had a #1 hit; we've just kept touring winning fans over one by one." Okay then, onto their latest video:
There is a tattooed girl joined by a badass in big boots entering a door that appears to go nowhere. We quickly find out that it actually leads to a basement that looks suspiciously like the place my friends and I would meet in High School to smoke pot. Just to clarify, the pot we smoked was not Dr. Dre type week, but rather heavily cut with oregano.
