Baby's struggle is over...

| My dog child lost the battle! |
My 9 year old dog, Baby, passed on Monday, May 3rd. She became ill very fast. It started out a few weeks ago when suddenly her stomach became very bloated. We took her to the vet and the vet ran lots of tests but couldn't figure out what was wrong.
On Monday morning at 6 AM we awoke to find her....she had passed on to the other side. Everyone that knew Baby, knew how special she was to me, my husband, my daughter and son. She was truly our best friend, greatest protector and true companion. She was like a sister to my daughter; they did EVERYTHING together.
We miss her sooo much already! I really miss seeing her baby blue eyes looking at me. Baby was a malamute husky/collie mix, black and white with a bushy tail and beautiful blue eyes. She hated any kind of confrontation...she'd often stop fights between the cats or even if she thought we were getting too rough with one another, she get in between us. She was the dominate ruler of the four animals that we have but she kept peace within the house. I never had to worry when my 14-year old daughter was out walking around as long as Baby was with her.
As much as I miss her...I'm glad she isn't suffering! I couldn't bare the thought of that wonderful dog/daughter of mine to suffer.
