Dear Reader,

The first Saint-Clair newsletter of the year is out and I'd love to share it with you.

Among other things, it features 2 long extracts from my series of novels based on social realism within Lesbian Romance:

The 1st one is from Risking-me, the novel I wrote a couple of years ago to flag the issue of Domestic Violence.

Its strong lesbian characters, Alex and Tamara, are the *good guys*, so there are plenty of sensual and romantic moments to enjoy, but the story is really about survival - more precisely, it is about survival and, ultimately, empowerment.

The 2nd extract is taken from Silent Goodbyes, the novel that whisks you off to the Whitsunday islands, off the coast of Australia onboard a 35 footer.

Emilie is at the helm.

For the first time in a newsletter, I have placed a call for submissions of short pieces so, why not blow the dust off that *little* vignette you've almost forgotten about and spin it over to me?

Anyway, the format of this enews is so cheerful that it is [almost] guaranteed to make you smile and that's because a great graphic designer friend of mine is responsible for the new look.

Warm regards to you,

C.C. Saint-Clair
