Subject: Happy Valentines' Day!
Greetings and candy hearts to everyone! :-)
It's a big day for romance, Readers, so here I am!
Seriously, I do hope that all of you have someone special -- friends or family -- with whom to share this Valentines' Day.
So far, this has been a busy year for me. I have undertaken two new projects, in addition to writing, that I can share with you.
First, I have recently been named as the moderator for the Book Writers' section of the Small Press Association's forum. This is a group of exciting, entrepeneurial folks in writing, art, and animation who have gathered for mutual support and publication. The website for this is: http://www.dimestoreproductions.com . From there, you can check out the publications and forum that comprise this dynamic group of creative people.
Speaking of dynamic... ;-) I have just started a new writers group: Dynamic Christian Writers. A local, in-person critiquing group, I look forward to it growing here in the desert.
I have also been asked to speak for a local elementary school, so I am looking forward to that. Life is sure busier than it was last year!
Well! I have been plugging away at the weekly column at Write to Inspire!, so that's been fun and challenging.
At the SPA, I was invited to contribute to the 2004 calendar. I will be the literary contributor to April, so I am working in conjunction with an artist to create an appropriate submission for the project. Exciting!
Bedtime for Benat is indeed up at http://www.nukapai.net Look under "articles" and find SandyQuill. That's me! :-)
Today, the 14th, I am sending out a novel for submission. Again. I believe that eventually it shall be accepted! Rah! Rah!
Thank you, Readers, for your continued interest in things on my desert rock. I am excited to see the way events are moving!
May you have a splendid Valentines' Day. God be with you and yours!
