I offer a periodic newsletter for those who would like to keep up-to-date on my latest writings and events. You will be the first to know the progress of all of my writing projects. I'd love to share this with you!
Newsletter Dated: 5/12/2004 8:05:08 AMSubject: May Newsletter
May is here, and the old adage is correct. All of those April showers did bring the most beautiful May flowers! Thank you, God!
After finishing my Spring 2004 School Book Talk Tour, I want to welcome all of my new teacher friends. Whether it was for Career Day, Right to Read Week, or just to have an author interrupt your school day, I had a wonderful time in all of the classes! It’s amazing how much the students know (even first graders) about computers and the Internet! Each class was a lot of fun, attentive, and had great questions. Please, visit the events page on my website (www.paulafblevins.com) for a thank you to those schools, and a taste of what went on in each class.
So, in honor of those students, I’m giving each of you, my readers, a short quiz. Teachers, you may have an edge after sitting through those classes. Everyone, please email your answers to: paulab07@paulafblevins.com. Answers will appear in the June newsletter.
1. What is the most commonly asked question students ask?
2. According to the fourth grade, what is the “coolest” thing that I could add to my website?
Many of you are probably wondering, ‘Ok, Paula. When are you going to tell us about that third book?’ Not yet. Hold on until the end. J
My surgery went well. Thank you for your prayers and concern. Let’s hope that it is the last one ever.
Reminder: Meet me at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville, WV for a book signing at the Family Christian Bookstore on July 17 from 2-4 pm.
Ok, ok. It’s time. The For Hymn Mystery Series, Book III, This I Know, is now (drum roll, please) finished! My pre-publication readers (bless you!) are busy now reading it to be sure that it basically makes sense without any key details missing. In the meantime, I will be doing the other necessary paperwork (summary, marketability, etc.) for the submission process. Then, it is off to the publisher for their decision.
Check your upcoming newsletters and my websites for further details about this book (currently known as a manuscript) and other pertinent information.
Happy reading!
Paula
