Hello,
I'm very busy raising an eight year old grandson who has cerebral palsy and is blind in one eye.
I'm editing several novels and have completed two illustrated poetry books. Currently I'm looking for interested publishers.
Would love to keep in touch with everyone who enjoys my poetry but there is never enough time. If you'd like updates on what's going on, you'll find it here.
Love,
Sandy

Doogie has been ill this past week--took him to emergency on Saturday as he said he couldn't breathe. His diagnosis was bronchitis. He is doing MUCH better!
Last week BOTH of baby Mariah's retinas detached, she was transferred from Ohio to a hospital in Michigan where they operated to reattach the retina on one eye last Friday. The operation was successful and the prognosis is that she probably will have at least 50% normal vision in that eye. The second eye was operated on yesterday and the results are the same. During both of these surgeries, Mariah held her own! They will keep Mariah hospitalized until late June or early July. Sherry, my daughter, is in Michigan (at Ronald McDonald's house) while Sergio remains on the job in Ohio.
When we have a 'release' date and they are told what Mariah will need (oxygen, heart monitor, etc.) and for how long, we'll know whether they will be able to relocate to Oregon this year.
Mariah is 5 lbs., 3 1/2 ozs. so is growing healtier every day.
God bless all you for your prayers, support and love :)!
Love you,
:) Sandy
