Subject: Mystic of The Three Worlds!

In my first newletter I would like to give you a short poem of Mevlana Jalal al-Din Rumi who had been one of the Sufi masters that wrote mystical poetry in three languages: Persian, Arabic and Turkish. His influence was so deep in the Islamic World that from his time (13th century) to our modern day his teachings as well as his 'path of love' lived in my country, Turkey.
Apart from his religious path he is a master of poetry and that is why I chose to share his poems among my friends her in Authorsden!
You will experience a different but universal quest in Rumi's poetry!

WHO MAKES THESE CHANGES?

Who makes these changes?
I shoot an arrow right.
It lands left.
I ride after a deer and find myself
chased by a hog.
I plot to get what I want
and end up in prison.
I dig pits to trap others
and fall in.

I should be suspicious
of what I want. (trans. by C.Barks)

An immediate apprehension of Truth
leaves no room for interpretation.

Those with loving hearts have helping hands!

Love is unconditional kindness!(trans. by T.Freke)

see you soon in another newsletter!
