A Riverwatch movie?: The big meeting takes place next week in LA. We should know a bit more by the end of the week as to whether the production company chooses to option Riverwatch as a feature film. Everyone keep their fingers crossed.
Upcoming Events:
Horrorfind Weekend!: The largest horror convention on the east coast takes place August 24-26th at the Baltimore Airport Marriott. If you are in the area, drop on by and meet some authors and actors involved in the horror genre including the original Creature from the Black Lagoon, actors from Dark Shadows and Dawn of the Dead, and yes, horror author Joe Nassise. Joe will be signing copies of Riverwatch all day on Saturday in the dealer's room and will have a reading scheduled for 10:00 am.
Halloweenfest 2001!: Joe will also be part of the largest mass book signing Florida has ever seen, organized by Bram Stoker award winner owl Goingback. With twenty authors and multiple special effects guests, this event is sure to be a winner. Halloweenfest 2001 will be held on October 20 at the Winter Park Borders in Winter Park Florida. More info to come in the next newsletter.
