I was so busy in March you didn't even hear from me huh? Well, April has been just as wild, but hey that's the life of the poor and unknown struggling author/poet.

Shouts out of thanks to all for the warm birthday wishes (and songs sung over the phone), beautiful gifts, flowers received - Wow you folks amaze me!
Can't wait to see what I get at my funeral!

There are SO many events going on in April and the best thing I can do for all of you close by and can come at this point is refer you to two great websites for this info. April is Nationally Poetry Month folks - so hey, help and support your local and nationally known poets, authors, laurettes! We need your help!

Happy Birthday also this month to GARY MOSHER on 4/29 and LISA HILER 4/10 and PAM BECKER on 4/22 - three from ze "Old gang". We will all be 29 - again, and again, and again....

Our famous Sonya "Poof" is trying to get a hold of some of the "old gang" to have our own reunion before the big 30th in Warsaw next year. So let me hear from you guys - Keith, Terry, Gary, Pam, Christopher Whitney, anyone who wants to connect for maybe a Illinois, Florida, Atlanta, Carolina's weekend somewhere. Sounds like so much fun.

Well, what is happening with the re-release of "Fly" - NOTHING. I'm too busy with working fulltime at the hospital, being Pres of FWA, being Secretary of FCPS, being Director of "Open Mic Jax" to do anything with it.

Well, what is happening with the screenplay of "Fly" - well we made the second round in the Jacksonville Film Festival, but alas we lost. In Project Greenlight - well, we didn't win that either. Moondance Film Festival - well we haven't heard, but the odds ain't good lately....we will keep plugging, keep submitting, keep rewriting and who knows...
OPRAH WHERE ARE YOU GIRL?!! I NEED BACK ON THAT SHOW!!

Ok, well let's see what else is new? I'm 29 again. The body is 88 again. May have a torn rotator cuff on the left shoulder. Going for an MRI of the left shoulder and MRI of the lumbar spine (for herniated discs) on Monday evening after work. But hey.....I HAVE NO GRAY HAIR KIDS - NONE - NO WHERE!! That's something right? HA!

Have a stupendous spring. Yankees hope you get warmer. Keep the tornadoes up there. We're always fighting hurricanes and fires - got enough to do!
