Subject: The Future Lies Ahead

First of all, a very Happy New Year to each of you.

And here we are, at the start of a brand new year, "untouched by human hands," as they used to say. There is a lot going on I want to be sure you know about, so let’s get started.

First and foremost, the entire 15-book Dick Hardesty Mystery series has moved from Zumaya Publishing to Untreed Reads. Zumaya will continue to handle the Elliott Smith paranormal mystery series and the western/romance/adventure/mystery/YA-suitable “Calico.” Untreed Reads will be reissuing the Dick Hardesty series in the order they were originally published, re-edited and with new covers, in both print and e-book formats, including Kindle and Nook.

Since Zumaya will no longer be handling the Dick Hardesty series, it may be difficult to locate titles until they can be reissued. Please bear with me/us.

The change will not affect those Dick Hardesty audiobooks already available (books #1 through #4 and the most recent, "The Serpent’s Tongue," #15. Book #5, "The Good Cop," was sent in for production on December 1, and I had hoped it would have been released by now, but apparently the holidays have slowed everything down. At any rate, it should be available soon, and you can be sure I’ll be out there beating he drums the minute it is.

So we are off on a new adventure for 2015, and I hope it will be a pleasant experience for all of us. I do want to thank Liz Burton of Zumaya Publishing for her cooperation in making this series change go smoothly, and I look forward to working with Untreed Reads, which has been experiencing tremendous growth and success over the past year.

Again, if you belong to Facebook and we are not yet friends there, please do send me a friend request, and be sure to stop by here frequently.

I very much appreciate your being reading this newsletter, and I hope you will never hesitate to drop me an email at any time you have any questions or comments.

Again, you the very best of new years.
