I see shadows
through thick spectacles

enlarging humanity

with its sin of dying
or of living

and we become one

--one world
--one soul
--one mouth
speaking as if truth
each utterance
slow gospel

we hunt in thick dying fields

create chaotic Sundays

frozen lakes of skin
drying up wet tears with bone

like a birdís song--
you & I
at the ways
by which death prepares
as crossroads
of misgivings

both leading nowhere
and returning
weeks later
with nothing

walking past blank faces
of no one

chewing on jerked remains
of freedom

mothers pinning children
to the backyard line
to dry
and store away
with winterís clothing

each day is new

allowing a little further progression

of self reward
and self satisfaction

chewing up earth
and spitting out stones of dust

as our air leaves with fallen trees
with decay of family

with expansion of city
with shrinking of time

with capricious matrimony of wavering commitment

with sporadic slinging of sperm
any old direction

with stupidity of retardation
in wondering how life got so fucked up

as if life is fucked up
instead of you

tossing blame like a bomarang

throwing and throwing

always returning

still you donít accept it as your own.

She opens
Her legs
To my

I feel
Her rhythm
Pulsate as

Blowing caresses
Of fingertips
And sticky

I am the sky
