Subject: New Short Story Available: "A Throne's Stowaway"

"A Throne's Stowaway" is a story of romance, but don't go looking for it in any romance-themed anthologies; it's just not steamy enough for that market. DM Kraft's latest short story is also funny, but it's a bit too poignant for traditional humor markets. Though officially categorized as 'fantasy' due to the character described in the title, "A Throne's Stowaway" also lacks the fantasy flair usually provided by swords and sorcery. On the other hand, this story is far too fantastical for mainstream.

So what do you do with a short story that defies conventional classification? You self-publish it!

"A Throne's Stowaway" is now available for free download at:

"A Throne's Stowaway": A woman inherits an old Detroit warehouse stocked full of eccentricities and dubs it the "largest indoor garbage dump in the state of Michigan." In her friend's eyes it is a treasure trove. How could either of them have expected it to actually be a transport station for otherworldly, banished princes?

At just under 10,000 words, "A Throne's Stowaway" spreads a little fantasy over a crumbling warehouse district in Detroit. By adding a touch of humor and a sprinkle of romance, author DM Kraft has managed to create a Cinderella story for 30-and-holding women everywhere. After all, why should young girls have all the fun?
