Subject: Sara Pennypacker, Ayla News, and More
Hi There :)
Recently, author Sara Pennypacker, of the nationally-raved middle-grade book CLEMENTINE, granted me an interview. It will be published in an upcoming PRIME TIME article, as well as here! For now, though, I attended Sara's book signing and here are the photos:
Since Sara's heroine, Clementine, is a dreamy sort, one who pays attention to every minute detail in her surroundings, I related her (very much so) to my daughter Ayla. You'll thus find our interview quite personal (in the upcoming newsletter). Here's the thing: My little girl (Ayla) is growing up FAST. Unsure if this is good or bad, I'm going with it. You will be amazed at this new photo of her, along with its news -- my daughter will soon be a paid children's writer (!!) :
http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewnews.asp?AuthorID=2092&id=14952 will take you right to a neat article-sample from an article I wrote on Sue Daggett, Cape Cod's Habitat for Humanity director. Highly inspirational.
Finally, my friend Krissy Brady runs an online writing magazine that aids those who love to write and want recognition from their writing.
http://www.bradymagazine.com/ will bring you to her BRADY MAGAZINE and all its treasures, including new writing markets, contests, and writing help. Krissy is super-talented, and has had her first book -- a very personal, poetry book -- published at Rain Publishing:
