Merry Christmas!! Are you as flabergasted as I am about people being politically correct in saying “Happy Holidays” instead of “Marry Christmas”? Jesus truly is the reason for the season. Jesus truly is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus truly is the only way -- no one comes to the Father but by Him! We must never be ashamed or allow the congregations we serve be ashamed of telling people the truth. Yes, many do not believe in Jesus. Yes, many are even hostile to Christianity. Yes, we will suffer persecution but we have no choice but to speak of Him who saved us ... and wants to save our world.

This issue of The Framework Weekly will address evangelism. May you find some help in this
issue on evangelism.

PREREQUISITES OF EFFECTIVE EANGELISTIC PREACHING by Lewis Drummond (Reaching Generation Next) Baker Books, 2002

Three things seem absolutely necessary to communicative preaching today, especially evangelistic preaching:

1. Content of the proclamation.
2. Communicative methodology is essential
3. The preacher as a Christian.

A great website to let missionaries know about is This site has lots of services that many missionaries probably do not know exist. This site can be a tremendous help with missionary burnout because it allows families, supporters, and churches to stay in better contact with missionaries without spending a fortune.
