Hello again, Everyone! I don’t have any new writings to offer in this issue. I’ve been working mostly with the new Web site and hoping I can get it launched within the next month. I will be sharing a large database of writing markets so it’s very time consuming. But little by little it’s coming together! I hope you find the sites this week useful and/or entertaining. I have to tell you I haven’t been keeping track of what sites I give here, so if I repeat any, please forgive me! *~:) I know one way to remedy that, but it’s one of those things I keep putting on the back burner. Well happy reading and writing, everyone. Onward!

Today in history:
September 26, 1962 - On CBS-TV, "The Beverly Hillbillies" debuted. Audiences in the United States were enchanted by Jed, Ellie Mae, Granny, Jethro, and Miss Jane.

Did You Know? In 1910, magician Harry Houdini purchased a Voisin biplane in Germany. He had the plane dismantled and shipped to Australia, where he planned an extended tour. His plane was the first flown in Australia, and he was the first to pilot a plane there. Interestingly, he taught himself how to drive a car during that time, so that he could get out to the airfield. After his Australian tour, Houdini abandoned the plane and coincidentally, also never drove again.
Did You Know? A "criticaster" is an incompetent, inferior critic.
Did You Know? The computer programming language BASIC is an acronym of "Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code."
Did You Know? Madcap comedienne Lucille Ball was kicked out of drama school in New York City when she was 15 because she was too quiet and shy.

**NOTE: Please ALWAYS read the guidelines and terms for these Web sites. I share only a brief description of their guidelines.**
Good sources are hard to find. That's why we created ProfNet, a collaborative of information officers linked by Internet to give journalists free, convenient access to expert sources. Welcome! We have made it easy to find just what you are looking for. From books to software, our expanding collection of services will become a one-stop shop for writers. Stay current and hone your skills. Writer Online is one of the Internet's oldest e-zines on the craft and marketing of writing. Who are we? We are a group of people who love reading. We do not claim to be literary geniuses, but know what we enjoy. The 'panel' is made up of people from various backgrounds/ages/sex/interests and education (or lack of it in some cases!). Each work is voted on democratically as to whether or not we will include it. Only the work itself is passed onto the panel so as to minimise bias, the Webmaster is the sole person who holds the details of the authors (e.g. correspondence, who the work is by etc...). This is a chance for the world to be exposed to stuff it may not normally get the chance to see, there are no publishing deals to make and you don't have to produce a masterpiece, but you can have fun and let your imagination run riot!

After writing "I wish you enough!"© I discovered that it took on a life of it's own. Its popularity grew so much that many versions with and without my name came popping up all over the world. Because of this I must ask that if you share any of my stories, please keep my name and email address attached to it. That way others will find their way here, too. That's how important you are. I want to touch the world through you.
