THE WALL
A soldier sits alone in an empty room
He come back from a war much too soon
Though he came home alive
He lost his legs in a firefight
A lonely victim unheard…..
In America
A family gathers ‘round a memorial hill
To mourn the young son who had been killed
Tears splash in their eyes
Nobody hears their cries
A bloody lesson unlearned……
In America
A rainbow flew across the sky
Went into another world
And took me to a high
And I saw a light……
On the planet Earth
Now we can sit here talking ‘till the end of time
We can keep searching for a sign
Or we can learn from the hell we paid
Not let them of died in vain
And carry a message of peace…..

THE VOICE OF DEMOCRACY

Every storm of this age
seems to overpower me ;
all the tornadoes of today
arise to destroy my ship ;
the rage of the rising tides
holds its grudge against me ;
the bables of all the noises
seduces me into the stream of chaos.
Yet,
as a tower of trust I stand
in the vastness of fuming waves.
I am aware of the dangers,
from the east and the west.
I know I am surrounded
by the demons of repression.
Still I fight alone
holding the shield of light.
On my behalf
someone should inform the winds
that no one should ever dare
to rend my mast.
All the storms, and tornadoes
and all the thunders
I can face alone.
I stir the ocean of time
fashioning my life
on the open deck of justice.
From the ocean
I bring out the pearls of freedoms.
With my own strength
and patience
I shall continue postponing
each armageddon.

On Sunday
I shall spread,
In perfect
Symmetry,
Perfect peace,
Pacific
Magic Dust.
Everything gathers with the waves,
The flakes of past moons,
The spirals of singing shells,
The tender whispers of lovers,
The miracles of mermaids.
On Sunday when you celebrate,
Turning towards the Sun
For a precious speck of my love
To grace your countenance,
You shall see me in the paths of foam.
When Day falls, and the Sun,
Golden Pomegranate,
Plunges into the Maternal Sea,
Splashing crimson in sacred silence,
My love will be your love,
First love of all love.

El canto de las piedras
Si te levantas
en la madrugada
aturdida-o por sueños
que te hundieron
en una ciénaga...
¡Guerra sin fin!
Si estás con sed,
con mucha sed
y el sol aún no calentó
las palmas
que han de saludar
la nueva era
y quieres oir el canto
de las piedras,
que nunca duermen
porque saben de tí,
por lo que eres,
(que trabajaste la piedra)
camina hacia el Este
como si en la historia
anduvieras,
como si el flujo
de sus olas
te atrapara,
-ora en espiral...-
-ora en vaivén...-
camina hacia el Este,
hasta Jerusalén.
Camina en Septiembre,
cada nuevo año
a cantar el canto
que allí cantan las piedras,
a renovar el horizonte,
a abrir nuevas puertas...
En tí... En mí...
