"Three Project Runway designers will be part of events surrounding the Mississippi’s Best Awards show in Jackson in late October.
On Oct. 27, Santino Rice and Angela Keslar will be part of Mississippi’s Best Passion for Fashion, location to be announced.
As on the Bravo TV show, those in attendance can participate in a “challenge.” Wear something by a Mississippian — jewelry, shirt, dress, etc. — and the most fashionable will be recognized at the end of the evening.
Tickets, $25, will be available at the door, or online at www.shadowplayent.com. A portion of ticket prices benefit Building Bridges Inc.
On Oct. 28, Kara Saun, Rice and Keslar will be part of a live taping of "Conversations with C.A. Webb" at 4:30 p.m. at the TelCom Center. Those interested in fashion and modeling may wear a work or have a model wear it for a critique by the Project Runway alums.
Tickets, $15, will be available at the door or online in advance at www.shadowplayent.com. A portion of the proceeds benefit Grace House.
The designers also will be part of the red carpet, beginning at 6 p.m. for the Mississippi’s Best Awards show later that evening on Oct. 28. This is free for viewers to check out the arrivals and fashions.
