Now seems a good time to set up a newsletter because I'm finding it difficult to get round and visit all my friends at authorsden let alone make new ones. I also think the newsletter is a good way to share ideas and information about my current project - in - development, a CD ROM collection of poetry presented with music and video to make a collection of pop video style presentations. Having almost no money to fund this the team and I are having to be quite resourceful in putting together our sets and costumes. We have started preliminary filming (waiting for leaves on the trees before we get really serious) and I am working with the musicians - members of a band called "Realistic Hair" - the name was culled from an advert for an inflatable girlfriend.
Sign up and for the next few months I will keep you up to date on our adventures and misadventures.
Newsletter Dated: 8/3/2002 9:58:05 AMSubject: Well I Never Got Round To Doing A NEWSLETTER The problem is that every time I try to do an AD Newsletter it does not work properly. Not exactly the PERL of Authorsden services is it.
Big News is we are still having a lousy summer by English standards. Not ideal for getting out filming but we are getting on with some music at last, the musicians having overcome their personal crises for a while.
And at least I have finished all the prosewriting - 150k words since February.
Gig coming up early September at the Albion, Clayton - le Moors, yeah I know none of you have ever heard of it but we are going to be filming me doing stand - up with a live audience.
I will have a serious try at getting a proper newsletter together soon.
Ian.
