Shadow Play Entertainment is pleased to be the proud sponsor of C. A. Webb’s upcoming day celebrating the Arts, EMANCIPATON: Free to Be that will take place on
Saturday, October 23, 2004. The event will be held at the EXECUTIVE (333 Northmart Plaza off North State St.) From 12-5p.m., there will be concession-style food, games and prizes for the kids, art work on display by Webb and other local artists. Performances will take place from Scott Albert Johnson, D. C. White (the Buffalo Soldier), the Kuumba African Dance-n-Drum Co., Elijah and Ellison Brown as well as other local talent right from Mississippi. Mary Kay Cosmetics will also be on hand offering FREE MAKEOVERS!!! Admission to this portion of the show is FREE.
David Stafford of Majic 100.9 FM will host a LIVE REMOTE from 1-3p.m.
From 7-10p.m., Webb concludes the day with the main program: EMANCIPATION. There will be open mic and appearances by guest performers RYZINSON, Tim Collins, Duane Scott, Martha Simpson, Raverto and Lee “Qhoir Boy” Mitchell, Jackirus Singleton, Brittany and Tiffany Williams, Darrius Magee, and Cherita Brent-Jackson. The MAIN SHOWCASE belongs to Mudd Life Entertainment® artist Next of Kindredz to close out the evening. They will be performing hits from their groundbreaking album FAMILY TIEZ. At the close of the program, there will be a special presentation to Brenda Walker, who began Shadow Play Entertainment’s relationship with The Friendship Connection. Admission to the entire evening event is ONLY $10.00, with advance tickets being sold from the Best Western Executive Inn, Downtown Jackson for only $7.00 until Friday, October 22, 2004.

All ads will be printed as black and white listings and will be scanned before copying to ensure the most professional appearance. THE BONUS?
