Newsletter Dated: 1/3/2005 7:33:43 PMSubject: It's Official: Shadow Play Entertainment has its First Lady
Over the past two years, C. A. Webb has worked with many artists that have performed under the entertainment umbrella known as Shadow Play Entertainment. S.P.E. has brought together artists from the genres of hiphop, R&B, blues, jazz and even inspirational. But one artist has always stood out to Webb as someone he has wanted to be a part of his growing team. One artist that embodies the qualities that S. P. E. and C. A. Webb, Inc. hope to convey to others: Integrity. That artist is Martha Simpson.
On Sunday, January 2, 2005, singer/songwriter Martha Simpson answered the call to officially join the Shadow Play Entertainment, thus becoming the "First Lady" of the entertainment leg of C. A. Webb, Inc.
"It is just the right time for this," remarks Webb, 29. "Martha is such a positive influence on me and so many others that we just had to have her. And it thrilled me when she accepted the invitation. We at Shadow Play will take good care of her."
Martha Simpson is an inspirational singer with a remarkable range, beautiful spirit and encouraging testimony. As a cancer survivor, she carries the message of strength and determination to others. Simpson and Webb have hosted poetry readings and concerts together as well as worked together on projects for Building Bridges, Inc. and the Southern AIDS Commission. In 2004 they hosted the Searching for Stars Amateur Talent Show, and they are presently getting ready for the 2005 show which will be in March. Martha Simpson is presently working on her second project, A WITNESS FOR THE LORD, due to be released in 2005.
