Subject: Yesterday's Program... The Truth
Well, it would seems that the last two weeks have not been going quite the way I would like them to.
One thing I wanted to do with my new project, THE TRUTH, is provide an open book for those who read my poetry about myself.
Here is one more "page" to that story.
Some of you know that yesterday's program at the Smith Robertson did not happen. For those that didn't know, now you do. The short answer as to what happened is really that I screwed up. I had gotten sick on Tuesday of this past week--- and actually didn't leave the house for the first time until yesterday for McRaes Metrocenter's show that early afternoon and for mine that evening.
It was not communicated by me to the right person that everything was still a go and that I was feeling better enough to go on with the program. So I take full responsibility for the goof up that occurred.
For those that were to perform that I haven't spoken with already, don't worry. You will be compensated, and you have my apology.
To those who were coming for the program, to you, too, I apologize. Believe me, this was a learning experience. One that I will not need to repeat.
To everyone: Thank you for your love and support. I am quite frankly still a little under the weather, but I hope to be joining you all in supporting the arts real soon.. I appreciate everything.
