One of the main factors that separates Shadow Play from other organizations is its willingness to grow and change with the times, accepting all people who are affected by the arts.

In early 2005, Shadow Play was contacted by a young lady who was involved in an interracial relationship. She expressed to us that she would like to see greeting cards that reflected her relationship as well as that of her friends that were not only in a interracial relationship but Same Gender Loving ( SGL). Shadow Play then went to work to create a unique line of cards to cater to both markets that were a concern to Misty, thus "Cards by Misty" was born.

Working closely with the Misty and one of our consultants,Valencia Robinson, Shadow Play has created cards that are respectable and inviting to all people, but don't leave out those who are in various communities within our society, Shadow Play has tagged "Cards by Misty" with the slogan 'Love Has NO Boundaries.'

You are cordially invited to the unveiling of "Cards by Misty" on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 7p.m. at the Microtel Inn and Suites (Behind Taco Bell off High St.). The public is welcome to this momentus event in Mississippi History where you can personally meet Misty and hear her story about why these cards are so important.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
