A trooper pulled us over
Hubby did as he was asked
When reaching for his wallet
He discovered, Oh my
He had left it at home
He was doomed, no lie
When what to our wondering ears
Did we hear? The trooper only
Gave a warning, we almost drew tears
No paying for daydreaming while
Driving to Christmas shop
An unexpected present
Made us joyful from toes to top
Happy Holidays to all of you
Relax and enjoy it all
We never know how many more we have
So kick up your heels and have a ball!
