How are you all doing?
Hope your having a good day.
I have a special surprise for you a friend of mine who writes beautiful poems.
Here is one of her poems.
Oh little boy upon the hill
What tales you could tell
Of thunderstorms and lightening
And how the people dwelled.
While all the world is shrouded
In a crest of snowy cold
You sleep in peaceful blissfulness
While this young world grows old.
And high upon a little hill
Where the sun is at it's best
An oak tree shades your tiny spot
Which God himself has blessed.
Toward sunset all the people leave
You can hear their voices fade away
But grief comes not to you young man
because you've had your day
For life is young, the people are
They build and then decay
But from their works a part is saved
To make a better day .
So little boy upon the hill
The earth, it lives and dies
You found your purpose, had your fill
Beneath God's spacious skies.
And years from now the sun will still
Beat down from day to day
The rain will pour ,the wind will rage
In it's strong untameless way .
And all the world will continue
And never will in quiet lay
Until the people finally bring
Themselves unto their own decay.
Oh little boy it's years gone by
And now, what do you see ?
The wind, the rain , the snow ?
And are the children still as happy and as carefree?
Oh no ! Please say your eyes decieve
You see no trees, no grass , no sign of humanity ?
Oh, little boy, please close your eyes
You've witnessed World War lll !
And now you'll close your tired eyes
There's nothing left to see
They grasp a paper, tossing in the wind
Just wind, where people used to be
And your heart pleads up to God
Oh why this tragedy?
Because of evil, answered he
Evil and stupidity.
