Hello everyone! What's better than a cozy warm fire and a cup of hot chocolate? A cozy warm fire, a cup of hot chocolate, and a historical romance novel, that's what! Hi! I'd like to invite you to receive my newsletter: Heroes, Hearts, and Happy Endings! Although I'm just getting things geared up, I hope to have frequent updates on my upcoming romance novels and screenplays, as well as some rec's for my favorite works. Also, I'll include articles on writing and forming friends in the romance genre. Happy Reading!

Subject: Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to raise a (virtual) glass of bubbly and wish you all the best of times this Holiday Season and thank you for your interest in my books. With the publishing of "If You Could Read My Mind" and "Spirited Away's" double RWA RITA finals, I had a fantastic 2006.

Now, on to 2007. For the moment I'm busy finalizing the outline of a new paranormal series I hope to put up for sale in 2007. My working title for the moment is: The Werin Chronicles. It is the saga of five sisters who are descended from wolves and the brave men who join them in their struggle to rebuild their race. Pursued by the fearsome Royal Hunters Society, the Werin must hide thier existence and still navigate the tulmultous sea of Regency English society.

The first book, The Gathering, is about Mara Corsairs, the oldest of the Werin sisters who agrees to marry a mysterious Werin nobleman in order to protect her family. Unfortunately, raised in the wilds of Yorkshire she knows nothing of proper society and forced to enlist the aid of the very last man she'd hoped to ever meet again, her fiancee's man of affairs, Nicholas Draverly.

Sworn to avenge the death of his family at Werin hands, Nicholas is really a spy working for the Hunter's Society. Unfortunately he'd once had a chance encounter with Miss Corsairs, that had the two of them sharing a passionate tryst in the moonlight, and he's desperate for her to keep his identity a secret.

The longer Mara and Nicholas are together, the harder it is for them to fight the powerful attraction between them. Mara hasn't told Nicholas that that kiss they'd shared on that misty night on the Yorkhsire Moors was more than just a lustful encounter. That in the way of her ancestors she had marked him as her own, and though he doesn't realize it, his body is changing. Before long, he won't be able to deny his desire for her love nor the call to a destiny that he'd never known could be possible.

I'll keep you posted on new developments as soon as I'm able. :)

To each of you I wish a bright and prosperous New Year! Happy Reading! Pam.
