Hi there readers and fellow authors. I am Willie Tee and I send out newsletters from time to time to keep you informed of the progress I am making in the promotion of my book, The Winds of Destiny, 2nd Edition. I will mention in my newsletter book festivals, speaking engagements and book signings that I attended or will attend in the future. I also inform readers of other fellow authors that I have met and the titles of their books. Importantly, I want to encourage others to become authors, a dream come true, and to provide them guidance on how to become skillful authors.

Subject: Author of The Winds of Destiny Seeks An Agent
Sorry, if you received this newsletter twice...Had a computer error.
I was happy to see that the New Year
festivities went off without a hitch at New York Times Square.
I spoke with the Grim Reaper recently and he was spending lots of his time at the Tora Bora Mountains in Afganistan. The Grim Reaper was wearing a tuxedo, top hat, walking cane, and tap shoes. He told me that he
has been busy tap dancing Bin Laden's henchmen straight to hell. He was tapping so fast at one point, sparks from his shoes almost caught him on fire. Well, as an old adage goes, the writing was on the wall. Well, it is
great that Grim Reaper is staying busy, because my chances of survival are then better. The world is a dangerous place to live you know.
I have been busier than a one arm brick layer, but still not moving things ahead fast enough. Therefore, I am consutling with a couple of
literary agents. I will ultimately select one agent who will select a publisher that will distribute my book on a broader scale. Test marketing has shown that my book should be distributed on a national and
international scale. An agent will also make contacts with film producers and other vendors that are involved in book marketing.
I also had the honor of consulting with Mrs. P. Thomas, an inspiring author of short stories about the black culture. She is looking to get published. She is the mother of a co-worker. I read one of her short
stories, "Battered", and was spell bound by her creativity and superb writing abilities. Since I floundered around a while with my own book before finding out what works, I have given her some hints on what works and what does not work. If you guys are thinking about becoming authors, let me know and I will give you "the skinny" on what is out there.
I am looking at being at the Virginia Book Fair at Charlottesville,VA, during March 2001. I plan to give a talk about publishing on demand technology, the wave of the future, and sign books. Please send this
newsletter to your friends and encourage them to buy my book. Also go to the Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, and www.authorsden.com/willietee internet sites and place comments about my book. Every little bit helps.
I will never forget you, my friends and associates, despite where my life takes me. I am contemplating having a reception in honor of my book
this year at a hotel ballroom and will invite you all and your guests. The punch will be on me. I wish you all a prosperous New Year. Always remember
that God makes all things possible.....
