Hi there readers and fellow authors. I am Willie Tee and I send out newsletters from time to time to keep you informed of the progress I am making in the promotion of my book, The Winds of Destiny, 2nd Edition. I will mention in my newsletter book festivals, speaking engagements and book signings that I attended or will attend in the future. I also inform readers of other fellow authors that I have met and the titles of their books. Importantly, I want to encourage others to become authors, a dream come true, and to provide them guidance on how to become skillful authors.
Newsletter Dated: 8/3/2002 5:59:05 PMSubject: Full Steam Ahead I got lots of irons in the fire right now, so I will briefly tell you guys what I got scheduled:
August 31, 2002.....1-4 PM Book Signing At B Dalton, Chesterfield Town Center.
5-7 Sept 2002...I will be at the Family/Farm Day at Virginia Technical College, Blacksburg, VA and share a booth with Linda Childress, author of "The Tobacco Farmer's Daughter".
The Last Weekend of September 2002, I will be at The Book Festival, Baltimore, Maryland.
Two Book signings are also scheduled the end of August 2002 at Piedmont Community College, Charlottesville, VA and VCU Colllege.
26 October 2002, 3-6 PM, Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Brook Road.
I got some other major signings at a book festival during early October 2002, but it is still in the planning stages. The festival is at Nashville, Tennessee.
I got lots of other events scheduled for the weekends from now to the end of the year...whether it be at shopping centers, malls or bazaars. The book is finally getting the recognition that it deserves from bookstore managers, other authors and the media. I will also try to get the news special that aired at Wilmington NC about the book on my website as a video view click on.
You dedicated readers made things happen for this book. Authors can not go forward without your support. Thanks again for your support. I am planning a big bash and book signing soon and you will all be invited...Thanks again..
