CAUTION!!! Enter the world of a COP'S DAUGHTER if you dare. Learn about the new book series and the obstacles and triumphs of writing in such a competitive genre, from Laura Marie Henion. A true COP'S DAUGHTER. Newsletter Dated: 4/27/2007 10:56:35 AMSubject: MAY NEWSLETTER & ANNOUNCEMNETS May News Letter ANNOUNCEMENTS May UpdateThe Big Event is just around the corner!Get Ready You Do Not Want To Miss This Event! May 1,2007 begins with the release of my latest novel. COP'S DAUGHTER-LAUREN Book Two of the Series. In honor of the strong, independent, professional and well trained heroines in my story I decided to think "out of the box" and also give back to my community. In doing so I am offering a Free Self Defense Demonstration to everyone who attends the event. "Wow", "What a great idea", "I've often thought about taking a self defense class," are some of the responses I have received. I believe that if such a beneficial and accessable training is available to the public, then people should embrace the opportunity. On May 5th at 2:00 pm at the Stony Point Karate and Sports Center, I am giving you the opportunity to learn more about this form of training. It is going to be a wonderful event where you can show your support for a local suspense and romance author but most importantly learn a little bit about self awareness, protection and defense. Please join me and feel free to spread the word.

Rockland Magazine Article is Released The Rockland County Magazine sent a reporter to my March book signing event at B&N. I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Danielle Kosecki following the book signing. She wanted to learn more about the daily struggles of being a published author and the numerous barriers we face and hopefully overcome. I enjoyed sharing my thoughts.
