Subject: Pierce Brosnan Loses James Bond Role
That was ten years ago when Brosnan couldn't get out of his "Remington Steele" contract to do the 007 role when it was offered to him. After that, every interviewer asked him about losing that part. This started to really bug him, as he felt that he was now perceived as "the man who had lost his big chance".
Later, things worked out and he got the part of James Bond and made it his. Now he says, "Thank God, I didn't get the part the first time. When I look at the old photos of myself, I was too young, too skinny, with too much hair."
This story illustrates to us that "God's delays are not his denials." When the timing is right and we are prepared to take full advantage of an opportunity, the chance will come to us. So when a delay happens, don't give up. Get prepared.
