Hi Spies,
Just finished working with Frank Sinatra Jr. on "McKnight's Memory" Audio-Book sound mix. Frank has listened to the first test discs a dozen times and has offered his musical expertise on the final music cues and mix. He's a big fan of conspiracy thrillers, such as his father's "The Manchurian Candidate" and the James Garner/Rod Taylor thriller "36 Hours", so he really liked our conpriracy thriller.
Also I just finished working for Edd "Kookie" Byrnes ("Grease", "77 Sunset Strip"). He's finally revealing the story of how he won three million dollars in Las Vegas in 1977. And how his girlfriend demanded her share, and a scam artist terrorized him to get the money.
Edd wrote it up and tells the story to his friend Alan Young (The Time Machine)is this audio-book re-enactment which is fully dramatized and has his real life actor friends David Hedison and Henry Silva re-enact how they tried to help him get rid of that salker.
Michael Callen ("Mysterious Island") recreates the stalker.
It was great fun working on that project. All these guys are my heroes, especially Edd, who was my role model growing up. I couldn't get on the stage and sing like Elvis, Ricky, or Fabian. But maybe by copying Kookie, I could get over my shyness and be cool. Still trying.
"My Casino Caper" by Edd Byrnes should be available in a month or two.
