Subject: Manchee Signs with New Publisher

NEW PUBLISHER - If you haven't been by my website lately you may not know that in January I signed a contract with Lean Press of Portland, Oregon for the next Stan Turner Mystery, Deadly Distractions. They also have an option on the sixth Stan Turner Mystery, Black Monday.

This is a new experience for me as it's the first time I've had an editor working with me. Fortunately the people at Lean Press are very friendly and easy to work with. I've enjoyed getting feedback from my editor, a criminal law expert, and having professional proof readers carefully going through the manuscript. They've even hired me a publicist and I'll be launching the new book at Book Expo in Chicago in June. The actual release date is not set, but I expect it to be in August or September.

In Deadly Distractions Stan is called back from his Colorado vacation when one of his clients is found standing over the dead body of an IRS Agent. Although his guilt seems obvious, Dusty Thomas insists he is innocent.

PLASTIC GODS - The reviews for Plastic Gods keep coming in and they've all been excellent. You can view them on my website. New hardback library editions of Death Pact and Plastic Gods are now available at or at Booksellers and librairies can get them from Ingram Book Company or

NEWSLETTER CHANGE - I'm changing the host for my newsletter from Authors Den to Yahoo Groups so if you would like to continue to receive the newsletter please go to to sign up.

Hope you all are having a great year.
