I'd like to hear from you regarding the Questions of the Month from April's WOW/GOW Newsletter so I can start preparing the May Newsletter.

Please answer one, two, or all three questions, but PLEASE do contribute! Your answers may help one of your fellow WOWs/GOWs who is struggling with an issue! Thank you! J.D.A.


1.) Have you ever received unsolicited but appreciated advice from your widower’s family member? How did it help you?

2.) Assignment: Write a couple paragraphs to the “toxic” person in your life, explaining why he/she makes your blood boil, and how you think things could be better between the two of you.

3.) Please discuss a recent “open window” – an opportunity that presented itself for intense discussion between you and your widower about his grief, your issues, etc. (et. al., perhaps it was a funeral you both attended, which afforded you an opportunity to discuss your widower’s thoughts about death, burial, and the afterlife? Perhaps it was something someone said that hurt your feelings, and your widower witnessed it and asked you about it?)
