Newsletter Dated: 10/20/2001 1:46:58 PMSubject: "Circles of Stone" Goes to Market At the end of the summer, I finished writing my third novel, "Circles of Stone." My new agent loves the story and is pretty excited about this book's prospects. We have met to discuss strategies, and she will begin the marketing process within the next couple of weeks.
Now, it's on to a new book. I don't have the story and plot settled in my mind yet. I wake up during the night with pieces of the puzzle. The story is whirling around inside me and I'm confident that the main character will arise and direct me.
What I'm struggling with is the theme. What do I feel passionate enough about to pull me into a year of writing, rewriting, and editing to come up with a finished book?
Since November is Adoption Month, I've begun another marketing campaign for "Finding Isabella." I'm mailing to people within the adoption industry (agencies, attys, etc.). FI is the ideal story to read in November.
More later.
As ever, A. J. Garrotto Author, "Finding Isabella," "A Love Forbidden"
