Hi everyone,

It’s been awhile, but I think you will agree it’s worth waiting for.

As you may know, I’ve had quite a few projects on the go, and two have finally come to fruition.

Firstly, ‘Cancer: A Personal Challenge’ was released last week. I am one of the contributions, and my essay “How Can I Live Without You?” is the story of my father’s life and ultimate death.

It was an extremely difficult piece to write, as I’m sure you can understand, and I admit I was glad when it was finished.

‘Cancer: A Personal Challenge’ is available from a number of websites around the world, but if you decide to purchase the book, please give thought to purchasing via my website. The only reason I ask this is that ALL PROFITS from sales from my website (only) will go to the Anti-Cancer Council of Victoria (Australia). I won’t be keeping even a cent for myself.

This is an issue dear to my heart, and I never had any intention of making money from it. At the beginning this was to be a non-profit project, but somewhere along the way things changed.

The book can be purchased by going to www.cheryl-wright.com/contributions.htm - currently it’s only available in pdf format, but will also be in hard copy as soon as the printer can manage. I have no time-frame at this point, but will keep you informed.

This makes six books I have contributed to in under two years – five already in print, and another submission recently accepted. The latter should be available mid-next year. All five books can be viewed at the above link.

With the three books I have published, that makes eight books. Wow! The list is growing. (And more on the way!)

The other project I’ve been heavily involved in, and mentioned briefly in the last update, is Authors Unlimited.

We made our official debut July 8th and there will be lots of giveaways and prizes. I’ve pasted our press release below, and hope you’ll join us.
